Sonya Our recent stay at Hotel Mela was awesome. The staff was the greatest - from the greeters in the lobby to the cleaning staff. My hubby and I celebrated our anniversary there and we received a very nice gift from the \"Desires\" team. It was quite unexpected and such a nice surprise. Also... I previously posted a comment about how great the hotel was, before you go to any outside travel sites to reserve with this hotel; Hotel Mela actually charges lower rates than booking with an outside company. So always call them directly. Juanita H, February 2010 |

Perfect Getaway My Fiance and I actually live in NY but we wanted a quiet night alone together. It took us a whole week to look through all of the hotels in Mid-town; then I came upon Hotel Mela. The hotel was SUPERB!!!! We stayed in the Executive King room which was huge, everything was sparkling clean, the heat/AC worked perfect. Thank you Hotel Mela for making two New Yorkers feel like they went out of town for a day; we\'ll DEFINITELY be back again. No complaints at all. Juanita H, February 2010 |

wkend getaway I stayed in this hotel for the last show of Kevin Hart♥ I really really loved this hotel..im always very nervous witht eh first impression but the hotel staff is wonderful everyone from the cleanin ladies greet u n ask how ur enjoyin ur stay..now it was totally booked i did my reservations thru expedia but was told i had a queen room well i got there an had a dbl the only reason i wasnt upset was bcz my friend wasnt comin till the nxt night n they said jus call in the morning n we will get u a different room..the mgr came personally n moved us to a bigger room..if ur lookin for a hotel inthe heart of times sq. with beautiful amenities this is ur place♥ we definitely enjoyed are saty and i wud book again...♥♥a note for stayers like me they do offer late check out up til 4 **great great great *** elevators r a little small n do take a min or two but still good...they also will get taxi for u n jus press 0..n they will come n two point two with a bucket of ice no matter the time!♥♥ thanks Hotel Mela TIFFANY SUTTON, February 2010 |

Mrs An experience not to be missed. Your hotel is absolutely comforting in every aspect of the word. The rooms are beautifully decorated with such calming colors, and emminities. So close to all NY has to offer. The concierge was incredible with all of his recommendations. I stayed with my 10 year old daughter for birthday weekend. Bruce We have not visited the Wave since 2007 but our stay there was wonderful. Staff was gracious, easy going and very helpful. <br />Unfortunately there is no room available for our next holiday so we will wait and return again. Awesome My first trip to Miami was last September, and all i can say is The Strand is where i will always stay. The room was Beautiful, location is perfect and the hotel staff was always on point. When ever im on south beach i will always be staying at the Strand. Quandale T, January 2010 |

Superb Hotel When I come to Miami I usually stay in the Setai but the Strand will be another one of my favorite places to stay. The staff was the great and the ocean view junior suite was party filled and serene. I wish the weather was better but the Strand brings the heat. I will be back for sure. ken s, January 2010 |
