Excellent hotel My friend and I spent last weekend at Hotel Mela for a girls weekend away. We loved the room, the location and the service were excellent. We would highly recommend staying here. Perfect Place!!! After reviewing numerous hotels and reviews, we selected Hotel Mela. Well we could not have picked a more perfect place. The location is less than 1 block from the heart of Times Square, yet the hotel is quite and safe. An easy walk to Rockefeller Ctr and the Metro. The rooms were very clean, updated and a nice size for NYC. The staff was extreemly helpful. Defintely will stay again....highly recommend. Jane S, July 2010 |

kudos my wife and i just spent 4 nights at hotel mela...and i would highly recommend it...very close to everything in manhattan, very clean, safe and comfortable. the employees consistently displayed a helpful, positive attitude. ps. the h20 shampoo is to die for and virgils, a great barbaque eatery, is right down the street. bob r, July 2010 |

Sales Consultant My husband and I stayed at Hotel Mela for two nights last weekend. We LOVED this hotel. It was very, very clean and the rooms were quite large - even the bathroom. Great stay! We stayed at Hotel Mela for our recent trip to NYC. It was our anniversary and when we arrived there was a balloon and a fruit, cracker and cheese try waiting for us in our room! It was a great surprise! The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are traveling to New York. We had a great stay! Abby K, June 2010 |

Mrs Dear Hotel Mela: I just stayed at your property on May 3rd, and May 4th and enjoyed an ecellent stay. The room was clean, appealing and surprisingly quiet. The front desk staff was helpfulu. attentive and polite. They could not do enough for their guests. The hotel is located in a great location and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Ride The Wave I just returned from my first trip to South Beach. Staying at the Wave made the trip very special. The staff was so freindley and welcoming. I could not imagine a better location. Mrs. I was the July 2009 winner of Redbook Magazine \"Beachy Keen\" sweepstakes (five days four nights) trip to Florida to stay at The Strand Ocean Drive. To sum up my vacation/honeymoon in one word \"WOW\". The manager, Mr. George Vesa and the staff was terrific! The hotel had a great ocean view and something exciting to see, eat and do each night. The staff provide us with such great care and hospitality. I want to thank each and everyone of you for a most pleasurable trip especially the front desk clerk Kelvin and our housekeeper Christina. Ms. This hotel rm was beautiful!! We stayed in the Retro part, there are 4 parts to this hotel. Our room came with a very nice refridgerator/frezer, microwave, stove w utensils, bar area w glassware, and more. It had an amazing rainfall shower head and big roman bath tub. The room and bathrm were very large. Beds extremely comfy! Only thing missing would be a larger tv, it does have a small flat screen though. The pool on the rooftop was very nice, small but just enough to cool you off after laying in the hot sun and your own private bartender. Gym was way too small so I only used it once, thats prob the only bad part of this whole place. The people there were so good to us, anything you needed they would help you. Valet is a little expensive but thats Miami! lol... Overall this hotel was the nicest we have yet to stay in and for now on we look forward to staying here each time we are on South Beach!
