Comments re: Stay What an amazing experience! My first time visit to Atlanta was certainly memorable. Begining with check-in to our unique room all was great. Our Desires Manager, Jermaine, was over the top! He took very good care of us from the minute we arrived to the moment we left. Every restaurant Jermaine suggested was out of this world! Great family trip base Just returned to Scotland after a family break to NYC. Hotel Mela is a fantastic base and more than met our expectations. The location is fabulous and meant we could walk almost everywhere. Our boys were free to explore Times Square on their own giving Mum and Dad time to relax! The Desires team helped with lots of useful info, restaurant bookings, and advice on taking a luxury car transfer back to JFK mid afternoon instead of trying luck with yellow cab. Five gold stars! Great for Spring Break The hotel is 1 block from the beach, which is perfect for spring break. The rooms were a little small, but since they were just used for sleeping, it didn't affect the stay. Also, the staff was extremely friendly and prompt with all requests and room cleanings. I would definately use this hotel again! Neha C, March 2008 |
